Creation and evolution

Not yet proven but what I propose is based on the fact that most of the time, words of the bible are taken literally.
The first chapter of the bible makes us understand that God built the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th day.
Literally speaking, this is self explanatory, but let me say something about time. It is an artificial construct used to calculate or calibrate events in space.
The same bible says that God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. It also says that a 1000 years is like a day in the sight of the Lord and a day like a thousand years.
The bible has no doubt lost a few meanings and concept due to translations, missing books and others.
If we decide not to take the bible literally at all times, then we can make the following deductions:
In the bible times, numbers or system of counting could not have advanced lets say more than a thousand.
This means that a thousand years may signify “a very long period of time.”
If a thousand years signifies a long period of time, in our time, we can say a very long period of time could even be up to millions of years.
With these few points of mine, I am sure you can see where I am going with all these.
Saying that God built the earth in 6 days and
A thousand years in the sight of God is like a day
A thousand years signifies a long period of time
A thousand years could be a million years which also means a very long period of time.
Notice that I use the word could because this thesis of mine is not yet proven.
Evolution as we know happened within a very long time frame. Lets see if a relationship does exist between the two.
On the first day, God created light. According to science, the world began with “the big bang” the big bang was an explosion. In every explosion, there is creation of light. Looking into the horizon and an explosion occurs, apart from the fire and smoke generated as a result of the explosion, you would notice a brightness of the area caused by the fire.
On the second day, God created the firmament. Seperation of the heavens from the earth. According to science, after the big bang, condensation of gases in space occurred. The most abundant compound “water” as well as other life supporting gases came together in different concentrations all around.
On the third day, God created land, sea and vegetation. According to science, the more dense molecules aggregated together to form land and water molecules aggregated in different places to form the seas, leaving dry land. The formation of land and sea gave rise to micro organisms which were the first organisms to appear. After them came plants hence constituting vegetation all over the earth.
On the fourth day, God created the heavenly bodies (Sun, moon and stars). Science acclaims the support of all life to be the sun. The formation of the sun would have enabled the rapid growth and proliferation of organisms and plants all over the world.
On the fifth day, God created sea animals and birds. According to evolution, the next sets of organisms to appear were the sea animals. Then birds were theorized to have evolved from fishjes that jumpedout of water.
On the sixth day, land animals were created as well as man. According to evolution, sea animals that first came in contact with land evolved into amphibians and reptiles which can both survive in the sea as well as on land. And supposedly according to evolution, thse animals further evolved into man.
On the seventh day, God rested.
When you open your mind and let your thoughts flow, you'll learn to think outside the box. But as you hey say this life is a mystery which the normal human mind has yet to fully comprehend.
