TITLE No20 #teamManUtd

1st of all, want to say a big congratulations to all ManUtd fans out there. League title number20!!! Its real guys and we the fans (myself incuded) are overjoyed and happy to silence those noisy neighbours. The next question now is moving forward. This here shows my brief analysis of each position in the team.
Keepers: De Gea=very good, Lindergaard=good.
De Gea has had a very good season. He still needs to improve on his physicality so that giants like Andy Carroll wont bully him that easily. Well done to the lad. Lindergaard has been relegated fully to the bench by De Gea but I still like him. If we get begovic then we could sell him though I hope that signing Begovic wont dampen de Gea’s confidence.
Rightback: Rafael=excellent
Rafael’s season has been fantastic. He has made the RB position his own. Attacking and defending has been spot on. Reminiscent of G.Neville in his early days.
LeftBack: Evra=veryGood, Buttner=ok
Evra stepped up his game this season. So good for him. Though time aint on his side no more. Buttner’s few games not spectacular but he’s still young so there’s room for improvement.
Centreback: Ferdinand=Good, Vidic:Good, Smalling=ok, Jones=Good, Evans=VeryGood
Ferdinand tried in maintaining his fitness levels this season resulting in a string of good performances and an England call-up which he turned down. I do hope Vidic has overcome all injury worries. When he came back, our defending improved. Smalling was injured and unavailable for a lot of games but he’s few performances were ok. Evans impressed me this season that is all I can say! When ferdo n Vida were out, he stepped up to the plate. Kudos to him. Hoping Smalling and Jones get more playing time to boost their confidence and improve their gameplay. I see a bright future for those two in the utd squad.
Midfield: Carrick=excellent, Anderson=poor, Fletcher=NA
Player of the year nominee, consistency, reliability, passing accuracy, Carrick has been fantastic. Hope he can carry on like this into next season. Anderson’s time at Utd is up. He’s gotta go. I remember watching one match he played in which 90% of he’s passes went askew. He’s sluggish when going back to defend. My heart still aches for Darren. Don’t know if he’ll be back at all. That being said, we need to sign a DM or CM cos if Carrick gets injured…….
Wings: Young=ok, Giggs=ok, Valencia=ok, Nani=poor
Wingers this season..just ok. Valencia needs to re-invent himself. He’s quite predictable. I would really love to see him cut in-field with his pace rather than hugging the right side of the field. Young plagued by injuries. Sometimes you see the spark and other times, he’s reluctance to take defenders on optioning to pass to Evra just gets me angry. Giggs was quite good despite he’s age! If you are 38-39 still playing like Giggs, then you are doing something right. #legend. Nani’s season was terrible. And I liked him before, but now, won’t flinch if he’s sold off. Zaha is going to challenge these guys for a starting berth next season.
Attack: Kagawa=very good Welbeck=good Rooney=good
I love watching Kagawa play! Took some time to get use to the physicality of the premier league but he’s performances have been quite good. He’s miss against villa though..very uninspiring. Welbeck’s workrate is marvelous if you ask me. He just needs to add finishing to he’s game and he’ll be up there with the best strikers the biz. Rooney has been annoying at times and very good at times. He needs to buckle up. He still chipped in about 16goals and 12assists if I’m not mistaken. Wont wanna see him go but he needs more discipline and focus. You can’t hate on that pass to Van persie against villa for the 2nd goal!
Strikers: RVP=Excellent, Hernandez=very Good
RVP has totally vindicated his 24mill pound signing. We lost last season on goal difference and what better to do than sign the highest goal scorer? He was the difference. Current squad leaves little room for Chicharito but he still scored over 10goals in all competitions this season to aid the cause.
4 games left. SAF won’t care much about subsequent results but I’m sure he’ll watch out for those ready to enter the 2013/2014 season wearing the Utd jersey. Feel free to comment and air your views so we’ll discuss. Glory ManUtd!!!

Shorthand???

I actually wrote this some 5 years ago!!! Never published it though..but it totally validates and coincides with written grammar then and now. Have a look

LMFAO-LAUGHING MY FUCKIN ARSE OUT!
LMAO-LAUGHING MY ARSE OUT!
BTW-BY THE WAY
LOL-LAUGHING OUT LOUD!
LWKMD-LAUGH WAN KILL ME DIE!
TTYL-TALK TO YOU L8A
……only makes you wonder, perhaps a new dictionary containing these abbreviations should be released sooner than later, just for enlightenment because some people apparently do not know the meaning of these abbreviations(esp the older generation) and also, who the hell is bringing them up? Very soon abbreviations like
GN-gudnyt
GB-Good bye
GM-good morning and
GA-good afternoon
GE-Good evening
(not sure thry were used then but are currently in use)
Would take over…all it takes is a spark…someone to just begin and before u know it, it’ll catch on. But as fun as they seem or as cheeky as they might be, a situation where in schools, children told to write essays in exams already use the smaller abbreviations such as "u for you" or "b4 instead of before" either consciously or more often than not, unconsciously(and these are just a few) or even in the corporate world where secretaries, clerks or people seeking job offers when typing drafts or letters as the case may be unconsciously use such abbreviations…believe you me, if any such letters fall on my desk........So therefore,as a way of emphasizing as well as enlightening the general public and the world at large, slangs should be left as such. We should all make a conscious effort to draw the line in our written language. The note you type to a friend on your cell is not the same that you write for an official purpose. Grammar sense must be taken into account!!!

The Naira

Uhmm..sure people wondering what this is about. It aint about our currency exchange and all that  jargon. I aint no economist. Its a simple analysis of the note itself. I remember a few yrs back when they created the new note. People wer happy..smiles,smaller notes to fit into the wallet and all. But i noticed a simple but in all sense a huge flaw in the new notes that have been created. Pick a note and scrutinize it.Yes..you see what I mean? Where the hell is the Naira sign?  Did the designers forget it or did they think that the symbol of our national currency is unimportant? only the 100,200 and 500 naira notes bear our naira sign at the moment. Dont know about you but this is just plain wrong..ignorance. It makes no sense at all!
